Shooting at Manufactory

On Saturday evening, a young man, named Booth who is a relative of theMessrs Booth, Sickle Manufacturers, Conisbrough, was deliberately shot at by an unknown villain.

The young man is employed at the manufactory, and just leaving the house of one of the firm, when a pistol, charged with shot, was fired at him.

The charge lodged in the shoulder and side of the neck, and it is feared that the effects will be fatal.

Rumour attribute is the attack to some trade dispute.
