Expected in Britain from Greece in the near future is Sergeant Arthur Coleman, second Battalion Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, fourth son of Mr and Mrs Robert Coleman, 30 Prior Road, Conisbrough.

Sergt Coleman, who expects to leave Greece early in November, has been in the army four years, of which just over three years have been spent overseas. He was with the eighth Army in North Africa and took part in the battle for Casino. He went to Greece shortly before the fighting in Italy ceased, and had been stationed in Athens and various localities in Greece.

Before joining the forces Sgt Coleman was employed in the old Road branch of the Denaby Main cooperative society. Two of his brothers have also served in the forces.
