A Dangerous Dog

Aaron Langford, collier, new Conisborough, was charged with keeping a dangerous dog at Conisborough on August 31.

Evidence was given by a little boy and a little girl to the effect that the dog had bitten them both, once in May and once in September.

The defendant, who brought the dog into court, said it was quite enough if you would leave it alone, but when they tormented it naturally went for them. It never interfered with any of the children about the house.

The Bench ordered the defendant to pay 31s 6d fine and costs and to keep the dog under control in future.
