Denaby Take Eight Catches
Denaby and Cadeby were on their toes in the field on Saturday when they gained a well deserved eight wickets victory over Rossington Main, for eight of the Rossington batsmen were dismissed by catches. Rossington hit up 96, (J. Harkin 15, D. Jarvis 32, N. Stanley not out 12). G. Porter taking four for 19 and C. Pegg four for 48.
The Denaby batsmen made light of their task and hit the runs required for the loss of two wickets, chief scorers in their total of 98 for two being R. Burkinshaw (31), I. Greenwood (15) and J. Wright not out 42).
