Missing Former Conisbrough Officer
We regret to learn that Lieutenant A Seaton C Barnard, son of Capt A.H.Barnard, formerly of Elmhurst, Conisbrough, is missing.
There is a probability that he is a prisoner in Germany hands.
The Barnard family of very well-known and esteemed in Conisbrough although now resident in Cheltenham, and much sympathy will be felt with Captain and Mrs Barnard in their present anxiety.
Captain Barnard was formerly agent of the Denaby and Cadeby collieries Ltd
Lt Barnard passed safely through the Gallipoli campaign and had been serving for many months in France .
