Conisbrough at British Industries Fair

Conisbrough is to be represented at the British industries fair to be held for a fortnight at London and Birmingham next May.

Once again the craftsmanship of local workers is to be upheld by Messrs. George Booth and Sons Ltd., The Conisbrough sickle manufacturers, whose managing director, Mr J. H. Rawding, stated yesterday that the firm had booked space in the hardware section to be held at Castle Bromwhich, Birmingham.

“The last fair was held in February, 1939,” Mr Rawding explained, “and we are hoping to renew acquaintance with the representatives of many of our overseas customers. For four or five years before 1939 we had occupied a stand at the fair at Castle Bromwich and met many friends from many parts of the world.”
