Conisbrough Public School Girl Confirmed

Among 50 girls confirmed at one of the North’s leading public schools on Monday was 15-years-old Vanessa Roberts, of Conisbrough, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Roberts, of Doncaster Road, Conisbrough.

Vanessa has been at Harrogate Ladies’ College since September. Her parents were present at the confirmation, carried out by the Bishop of Knaresborough, in the college chapel.

Formerly at Swinton Comprehensive School, Vanessa has one sister, 10-years-old Amanda, who is a pupil at Doncaster Convent.
