Death from Injuries At Denaby.

On Tuesday, Charles Baines, aged 14, son of Stephen Baines, grocer, Cliff View, Denaby, died from injuries alleged to have been received on the 27th August.

On that day he was sent to Mexborough to get horse shod, and his story on his return was to the effect that two men, whose names he gave, struck the animal, causing it kick.

He was thrown to the ground, and sustained an injury to the head.  Dr. Gilchrist attended him.
