Day of Runs at Wath

At Wath on Saturday the bowlers went through it as per custom in a Wath – Denaby match.
These two teams have met and provided some of the heaviest scoring games in local cricket in recent years and Saturday’s match was well in the tradition.
Bob Carlin (picture) again got to work and completed an excellent century. He and Greenwood held the creases for over two hours. Greenwood has scored 138 in his last two games for once out.
The Denaby bowler could not force a win and Wath always were safe from defeat. Hargreaves and Smith put up a delightful partnership for them.
