Denaby Factory Not for Small Arms

In a paragraph in our issue on February 22 it was stated that during the war the pithead Bath’s building at Denaby main had been repositioned by the ministry of Supply on behalf of Messrs. Edgar Allen and co. Limited, and that the building was adapted for the manufacture of small arms.

Actually the factory was used by Messrs. Edgar Allen’s not for the making of small arms, but for making their Stag Major Superweld tools for lathes, planers, borers, etc.
