Denaby Parish Church v. Newhill
At Denaby, before a good gate. Wood started the Paul having a slight breeze behind him, and it was not long before Denaby got a goal. Up to half-time the home team had far the best of the play, and scored another goal.
Half-time: Denaby 2 goals; Newhill, nil.
The home team made a poor start. The viators were not long scoring, and soon after got the equalising goal. Then the home team made matters warm, and kept the visitors within their own quarters, and soon put on four more goals. A one- game ended as under:
