Hull City Reserves 3 Denaby United 1
Denaby United lost 3-1 on their visit to Hull city Reserves on Saturday.
Four Hull it was a well merited victory, but the game was merely a scramble in the mud. The City kicked more strongly and possessed faster forwards, Davidson, on the right flank, constantly troubled Denaby, for whom Asquith and Williams did well in defence.
A goal after five minutes gave Hall an interval lead, though they missed converting a penalty.
Scorers were Jones, Bell and Davidson for Hull, and Killourhy (penalty) for Denaby.
