Arthur Flynn

The funeral of Arthur Flynn, one of the victims of the Cadeby explosion took place at Denaby cemetery on July 13th.

The chief mourners were :- Mr. and Mrs. J. Flynn ( father and mother ), Mrs. C. Finn, Misses M. Flynn, A. Flynn, E. Flynn, C. Flynn, Tom and Pat, Maggie Flynn ( brothers and sisters ), Mr. and Mrs. Dunhill, Mrs. Newall, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay, Mr. C. Finn, Mr. and Mrs. Jones ( Denaby ), a large number of his fellow work mates and friends, while the National Irish Foresters acted as bearers.

Wreaths and flowers were sent from :-

Father, Mother, Aunt Frances. ( Anchor ). Aunt Sarah ( Cross ), Uncle Jack ( Cross ). Wreath from Don. W.M. Club ( Mexborough ).

Flowers from Miss Violet Cocker ( Mexborough ), and from his sisters and brothers.
