GALA DAY
Denaby Tom Hill Youth Club Leader, Mr. Sid Stones, is hoping the sun will shine for the gala day he is organising at Tickhill Square football ground tomorrow (Saturday), and he hopes to bring at least one well-known personality to the gala, in aid of Youth Centre funds.
Entertainment will include a baby show, Beauty Queen contest, and electric train rides for children.
The prize for the “Miss Denaby” competition will be a free hair-do at a Doncaster salon. A competition prize of a free week-end in Blackpool should also attract customers.
A beat group has been hired and a dance will follow in the evening at the Youth Centre.
