Grocock W. – Wounded and in Stoke Hospital

Private W Grocock (K.O.Y.L.I.) of 77 Tickhill Street, enlisted in October 1914, went to France in July 1915 and in January 1916 was brought to England, suffering from gas poisoning and trench fever. He recovered and returned to France where he was wounded in the right thigh on July 6th. He is now in hospital in Stoke. Private Grocock, who before enlistment was a miner at Denaby Main, is marriedf and has four children .
