Eighteen-years-old Denaby Colliery surface worker, Norman Allott makes cut  his Midland League debut tomorrow (Saturday) when he plays on the left wing for Denaby Unite In their away game with Mansfield. He replaces Womack, who has been transferred to Derby County.

AIlott was signed from Denaby Tom Hill Youth Club and has played In Denaby United’s second team, which is unbeaten in the Sheffield Association League., Harry Lee replaces Terry Foster at inside-right and centre-half Phil Barnes returns after missing two games through ‘flu.

Denaby’s team against Mansfield will be: Smethurst; Hague, Southall ; Winfield, Barnes, Pilkington Naylor, Lee, Egan, Jowett, Allot Reserve: Law.

Second team, at home to Hallam(kick-off 3 p.m.): Barker; Day, Bedford: Roberts, Lawley, Banton, White, Foster, T., Blood, Flaherty and Deeming.
