More drunks at New Conisborough

John Stafford, senr., John Stafford, Jr., and Edmund Makin were charged with being drunk and disorderly at Conisborough on the 25th August

P.C. Jarvis said that at 10. 45 on the day in question he found defendants very drunk.

P.C. Evans corrobrated, as also did P. C. Lund.

The two Staffords were fined £1 each, and the defendant Makin who did not appear, was fined 20s.

John Churns, miner, new Denaby, was charged with the commission of a similar offence on the 25th ult.

P.C. Evans proved the case, and Agnes, break it. Fined £1,

John Ward, Denaby, was on Monday fined for an identical offence on the 25th ult.

P.C. Evans proved the case, and Sgt ambler corrobrated,. – Fined 20s

P.C. Ellis, miner, Denaby, was fined 10s and costs for a similar offence on the 24th August.

Martin McLoughlin, miner, Denaby, was fined 15s. For a similar offence on 19 August.
