Last week’s Ivanhoe Motor Cycle Club’s treasure hunt was won by Ray and Ian Ollerenshaw with Keith Gwatkin and Bob Trowbridge tieing for second place. Only one mark behind were John and Richard Plume.
At Sunday’s grass track meeting at Skegness, Derek Drury and Keith Gwatkin gained a second place in a sidecar race on Derek’s Triumph engined outfit. This Saturday they will be riding at Spalding, staying in Lincolnshire overnight to ride at Sleaford on Sunday.
Ivanhoe riders were unplaced in Sunday’s North Derbyshire Motor Cycle Club trial, held near Chesterfield. There are no trials in South Yorkshire this Sunday.
