New Chief of Specials

Councillor F Kelsall of 1, Crookhill Road, has been appointed section commander of Conisbrough section of the West Riding Special Constabulary in succession to Mr CE Webster of the Lord Conyers hotel, who resigned recently after holding the position since July 1936.

Councillor Kelsall has been a special constable since April 1936 and previously held the rank of Section Leader.

The vacancy caused by Mr Kelsall promotion has not yet been filled.
