Obscene Language At Denaby.

Joseph Holand, miner, Denaby was summoned with using obscene language at that place, on 29th May.

P.c. Ransom said that on the date named he was on duty in Adwick Street, Denaby, in company with P.c. Middleton. He saw defendant shouting and making use of abusive language. There was a crowd of people in the street at the time

Witness requested defendant to go into his house.

He did so but returned a few minutes later and made further use of bad language, continuing for about half an hour.

P.c. Middleton corroborated, and defendant was fined 2/6 and costs.
