Funeral Of Another Victim.

The remains of Arthur Edward Rowell, one of the victims of the Cadeby explosion, whose body was recovered last Tuesday, were quietly laid to rest at Conisbrough Cemetery yesterday, amidst many manifestations of regret.
The service was very impressively conducted by the Rev. S.F. Hawkes (Vicar of Denaby).

The body was first placed in a shell, and afterwards in a pitch pine coffin with brass mounts, and was carried by Messrs. T. Comer, G. Goulding, J. Norton, T. Hill, F. Crossland, T. Griffiths, J. Armstrong and J. Doran.

The mourners were :-

Mrs. Rowell ( widow ), Florry and Elsie ( daughters ), Mr. and Mrs. Rowell ( father and mother, York ), Mr. and Mrs. Kitchen ( sister and brother-in-law, York ), Mr. and Mrs. Rowell ( brother and sister-in-law, York ), Mrs. C. Kilner ( sister-in-law, York ), Mr. and Mrs. Burgoine ( Conisbrough ), Mr. Kay and Mr. Davis ( Denaby ).

Many beautiful wreaths and flowers were sent by relatives and friends.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. E. Downing of Conisbrough.
