The teachers and choir of the above church accompanied by their friends on Wednesday last, had a most enjoyable excursion to Wharncliffe Craggs.

The party left Conisbrough early in the morning arriving at Oughtibridge about 11, from whence they proceeded to their destination.

Having partaken of an excellent repast that they each and all enjoyed themselves to their hearts content.

The party left Oughtibridge about seven o’clock arriving at Conisbrough at 9.15 well satisfied with their days pleasure, laden with ferns, bracken etc gathered during the days rounds.

The weather was most beautifully fine.
