Sudden Death at Conisborough

On Monday night a Denaby colliery surfaceman, named George Harrison, residing in Morley’s yard, died very suddenly.

He returned home at 10 p.m. At 10.45 he was suddenly taken ill and died in half an hour notwithstanding the efforts made by his family to give relief.

Diseased, who has recently been under medical treatment, was a native of Harworth, and was 56 years of age. 2 sons and three daughters survive. The interment took place yesterday at Conisborough Cemetery.

Diseased was one of the oldest members of the Alma Sick and Dividing Society, and was much respected by all with whom he came in contact.
