Traction Engine Offence

Andrew Burnistone, traction engine owner, of Conisborough, was fined 20 shillings and costs for not having a pilot in front of his traction engine at Denaby on the 16th ult.

Police Constable Midgley stated that he saw the defendant driving a traction engine in Doncaster Road, Denaby at 130 o’clock in the afternoon.

There was no man in front.
