Hiking through Viking Trails
The day consisted of three treks through Borgarfjorour Eystri after seeing a fascinating old Icelandic grass house.
The first trek was aborted after several hours because of injury to one of the party. This led to a fascinating trek to an extrusion inlet.
The last trek was to the top of a mountain and then down the other side. After stopping for a short break our guide announced we were to go back to the top of the mountain ! At this point I think my legs died
However I survived and returned for another day !
