The return match, between the above clubs, was played on Saturday, when the Denabyites quite reversed their former attempts, and gave their opponents a roland for their oliver.

The visitors having won the toss, they decided to take the field, thehome in. Run getting was exceedingly slow, the bowling being dead on the wicket, and the fielding up to the mark, which necessitated carefulness on the part of the batsmen. The innings closed for 28 runs. The stumping of Brant for the visitors was very good.

After the usual interval, the visitors commenced their essay. The bowling of Bailey would admit no liberties been taken and the batsmen had to be content with guarding their wickets. In the meantime Bailey secured three wickets, when F Hobson essayed fourth and spirited more life into the game
