Iceland’s Highlands – The Golden Waterfall and a Geysir
A long drive through the highlands of Iceland with some amazing scenery en route as we passed in between 2 glaciers.
We stopped at the hotsprings of Hvitargljufur (the White River Canyon)
The Golden Waterfall is considered Iceland’s prettiest and features a rainbow at certain times of the day.
Finally the sight and sheer power of Strokkur the Geysir which spouts every 5 minutes.
Just a point on the weather – the best day in Iceland for 20 years ! Hardly a cloud in sight.
