Denaby Main Dispute.

This dispute (an account of which appeared in our columns on Friday last ) which affected 700 miners is now quite settled. The manager of the colliery has withdrawn all the notices of the men to leave their employment.

A reduction of wages was asked for to the amount of 27 %, but being so heavy a character, the men resisted the proposal.

The news of the settlement has been received with the greatest satisfaction throughout the districts of Mexborough, Denaby, and Conisbrough, where the men employed chiefly reside.
