Damage to Windows at Conisborough

Elizabeth Martin, of New Conisborough was summoned for having damaged windows at a house in Edlington Street, Conisborough, in which she lived on April 8.

Mr F Allen, solicitor, appeared on behalf of the Denaby and Cadeby Colliery Co. Ltd, the owners of the property.

PC Raper said he was on duty in Edlington Street at 1030 on Sunday night. Defendant have been locked out, and made use of obscene language, and pulled the knob off the door and threw it through the bedroom window, breaking two panes.

She then went to the back of the house and broke two other panes.

The damage was estimated at 14 shillings.

Defendant was ordered to pay a fine of six shillings and the damage and costs of the case.
