A delegation of miners representatives at Ferry farm, Conisborough, last Saturday. Ferry farm has been acquired by the Denaby and Cadeby miner’s Home Coal Carting Committee for the accommodation of their horses and vehicles. The establishment was inspected with interest by representatives of a number of branches of the Yorkshire miners Association.
In the above group, a little to the right of the centre, is Mr Herbert Smith, president of the miners Federation and the Yorkshire miners Association (in his characteristic wealth), and on his right is Mr J. Hall, financial secretary to the Yorkshire miners Association; and his left Mr T. Williams. MP.
