Series of Crashes In The Fog

The thick fog which blanketed the district yesterday caused less dislocation to traffic than might have been expected

Frost to Blame

The railless bus service between Mexborough and Brook Square was held for a time yesterday morning by a collision in Low road, Conisborough, near the Station Road Schools, in which three vehicles were involved. The vehicles, a motor-cycle, a heavy motor-van and motor-lorry laden with bricks, skidded owing the frozen state of the road, and the van and the lorry came to rest so that the road was partially blocked.

Visibility at Conisborough and Denaby was reduced to ten yards and Warmsworth and Edlington to 20 yards
