4,370 Child Evacuees For Conisboro’ Area
Conisborough has been appointed a ”D” Training station for 4,370 child evacuees from one of the Yorkshire towns, and it has been arranged that the children shall be taken in parties to Balby Street School, Denaby, where they will receive a meal and then be loaded up in buses for their separate destinations.
The children will be accommodated in villages near Conisborough.
