Jug as Weapon
John Cahill (24), miner, pleaded that he was drunk and did not know what he was doing when he struck Frederick Kay on the head with pot jug.
The affair occurred at Denaby on the 27th November last, and Kay was rather badly injured.
Prisoner was committed for six months with hard labour.
