Lawn Tennis – Denaby Club

The Denaby Lawn Tennis Club have opened the courts, which are in good condition considering the adverse weather that has prevailed up to this week.

There are 50 members, and the club is fortunate retaining the appreciated services of Miss N. Mason as honorary secretary.

Mr. F. C. Pollard is the captain, and home and away matches will be played with Barnsley, Swinton and Wath.

The decision of the club to cut down its match programme has been arrived at because it considered that the playing of a great number matches has the effect curtailing play among the members generally.
