Denaby Rifle Team’s Success.
At the Denaby British Legion club last night, Major A. Smith, K.O.Y.L.L, presented to the Denaby British Legion rifle team the Elmhirst shield of the Yorkshire Miniature Rifle Association, which the Legion team had won.
Mr. T. Hill. President, of the Denaby and Cadeby Miners’ Welfare Trustees, handed the Leslie Cup (presented by Major J. H. Leslie), the managing director of the Denaby and Cadeby Collieries), and the medal Mr. J. C. Macfarland, who has won this cup on the only two occasions on which it has been put up.
