A £1,000 Bingo Win At Denaby

Denaby Main mother of three Mrs. Nora Bell (36), of 62 Firbeck Street, Denaby, landed a £1,000 plus bingo win in the National Golden Scoop competition at Denaby’s Lucky Strike Casino on Thursday.
“I never dreamed anything like this would ever turn up,” Mrs. Bell, wife of Cadeby Main Colliery worker Mr. Thomas Bell (36), told the “South Yorkshire Times”.

She added, “I haven’t even had time to think how to spend it. I want to get hold of it first.”

Mrs. Bell has been a regular bingo player three times a week for about three years, and this is her first big win. She shared £2,025 with a woman from Newcastle.

Mr. and Mrs. Bell have two daughters, Carol (14) and Linda (7), and a two-years-old son Keith.

Lucky strike winners have taken over £10,000 in the last two years. The casino manager said on Friday, “We have certainly deserved the title ‘Lucky’.”
