A Fine Swimming Team
This is a photograph of the team representing the Balby Street School, who won the school championship at the Conisborough and Denaby swimming gala last Saturday. Three of the girls in the team, E. Paling, L. Croft and G. Cuttle, made 29 points, which was more than the whole aggregate of any other school team.
The names of the team are: F. Wood, W. Smith, J. Peters, H. Dunkill, S. Bucknell, G. Banks, F. Westlake, E. Taylor. E. Paling, L. Croft, G. Cuttle.
The teachers (standing) are: Miss F. M. White and Mr. J. R. Firth.
