Accident at Cadeby Main Colliery.

Yesterday afternoon, a serious accident befell a miner named John Folliand, a single man, aged 20, and residing in lodgings at 44, Doncaster Road, Denaby, at Cadeby Main Colliery.

A fall of roof occurred in his working place by which he was knocked down, causing severe injuries to his back and chest, the former, it is feared, been broken.

He was at once conveyed Mexborough Cottage hospital, where his injuries were attended to by Dr. Twigg and lies in a precarious condition.
