Accident at the Colliery.

On Monday, as William Latham, aged 22, engaged as a driver at the above colliery, was driving a horse attached to a train of loaded tubs, when by some inexplicable means he was knocked down and run over by the tubs, and when released the unfortunate fellow was found tohave sustained serious injuries, especially about the head.

He was at once conveyed home, and Dr Sykes, of Mexborough, called in, under whose care he is progressing as favourably as can be expected.
