Denaby United, when visiting Scarborough, always put up a great display, and their defeat on Friday was only the second time that they had been beaten on that ground.
Although, Denaby lost 2-0. They put of a much better show than the score suggests, and they were unlucky to lose.
It was all in the last 15 min at Scarborough found the net, when Agar and (9 min from the end), Beckett scored.
Denaby’s attack in the first-half was more dangerous than that of the own team. Cox, the 17-year-old left back, of Olympia Rangers, partnered Happs and Jack Williams do well at centre half.
