Mrs Beardsley, of 2 Braithwell Street, Denaby Main, sends us a photograph of a sailor husband, Seaman F.Beardsley, who is in training in the South.
He joined the Navy on April 23, 1940, having volunteered for the work, which he says he “likes very much.”
He was employed before enlistment at Denaby Colliery.
