Three Men to pay £16

Beer throwing at a Conisbrough public house following complaints by the licensee that the customer allowed a dog to occupy a seat in the taproom, had a sequel at Doncaster West Riding Court on Saturday when three Conisbrough men were ordered to pay fines totalling £16 for disorderly conduct and assault.

John Cairns (40), miner of 30 Chambers Avenue, was fined £12 on two charges, one of the assault on the land; his father Michael Cairns (63) 10 Dufton Row, and Jack Kelly, a discharged soldier, were each fined £2 for refusing to leave the hotel, the Eagle and Child at Conisbrough on Bank Holiday Monday
