Bouquet for Conisbro U.D.C
At the Mexborough branch of the National Federation of Building Trade Operations meeting held last Thursday members expressed appreciation of the action of Conisbrough U.D.C. in taking steps to see that contracts for building they let only to the contactors employing trade union men.
The branch secretary Mr P Doyle expressed his own appreciation of Conisbrough council approach to most of the problems and a request from the branch saying they were the only authority in the area to allow a building trade worker to become a co-opted member to their housing committee.
