Breach of Colliery Rules

Thomas Turner, miner, Denaby , was summoned for a breach of Special Rule 101, by neglecting set sprags at Denaby Main Colliery, the information being laid by the manager Mr. W.H. Chambers.

Mr. H. H. Hickmott prosecuted.

He explained that defendant had holed a distance of 9ft. by 3ft., on March 25th, without setting sprags.

Defendant was fined 20s. and costs.
