BREAKING A MAN’S NOSE.

On Wednesday at the Doncaster West Riding police court, Henry Myland was charged with violently assaulting Alfred Bell.

The parties are glass blowers, and work at the Conisborough glass house.

On Monday morning the defendant struck the complainant three blows in the face, one breaking his nose.

He left work and went to the doctor, who attended to his injuries.

Defendant now stated that compliant was the first to strike.

The Magistrates believed other wise, and fined the defendant £5 and £18s. 11d. Costs.
