Breedon Reduces Course Record.

Barry Breedon, the 25 years old Conisbrough Ivanhoe Cycling Club Champion, established himself the man of the year in 25 miles time trials before midsummer, winning the national title and doing the fastest rides in Britain.

Since then he had brought the national record Yorkshire, doing 25 miles in 54 minutes 23 seconds, and now at the bitter end of the season he is still keeping it up!

Winning the Keighley Road Club “25” in 55 minutes 11 seconds, last Sunday, he recorded the fastest “25” in the country that day and clipped another eight seconds off the course record he set up last June.

This weekend Barry will tackle another West Yorkshire race, the Huddersfield Star Wheelers “25” and with increased competition, may get very near his own British record.

Roy Cromer, former Conisbrough champion, has been on winning forms is coming back to the world Championships, scoring in the Rover “25” in 56 min 23 seconds, last Sunday in the Gloucester City “25” in 57 min 25 seconds.
