Conisboro’ Rangers – Only Unbeaten Team in the District

So far as we can ascertain, Conisboro’ Rangers are the only unbeaten team in the district. They have played 20 matches, won 19 and drawn one, scoring 119 to 15.

The principal scorers are:

Jeffcote (picture) 49, Keys 16, Hodgson 13, J. Taylor 11, H.G. Taylor 9, T. Kelly 10.

Jeffcote, in his last three games, has scored 18 goals. Only his size prevents him from “moving up.”

The team’s five games have resulted:

Doncaster Saint Mary’s 11-1, Doncaster Church 7-0, Balby Adult School  11-0, Edlington Rangers  11-2, Mexborough Rovers  8-1
