Conisborough C.C. – Succesful Season

The season just concluded has been a very successful one from the playing point of view, the first team having finished second in the Doncaster and District League, Division Two.

Rossington’s, second team, which headed the table, will not be eligible for promotion as Rossington’s first team is in the first division of the League so Conisborough are now to decide whether to apply for promotion or not.

During the season16 matches have been played, 11 won, one drawn, and four lost.

F Clarkson and F Richardson were respectively top of the batting and bowling averages, anda few figures are appended:
