A Conisborough Fishmonger Drunk and Disorderly

No Appearance.

Joseph Thompson, fishmonger of Conisborough, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at that place, but although the officers at the door give frequent shouts for the defendant there was no response, and the Chairman observed that it was little use serving summonses if the parties did not appear.

The Superintendent had better lock them up when they first came to the court, and not give them a chance of going out and not returning.
