Profits Reduced, but Dividends Maintained

The annual meeting of the Conisborough Gas Co Ltd, takes place today

The retiring director of Mr P Bancroft Coward and Mr CA Reem.

The balance sheet shows that the turnover for the year has been considerably reduced, owing to lighting restrictions and the greatly increased cost of materials and labour.

It is recommended, however, last year’s dividend (5%, 4%, and 3 1/9%) on the three classes of stock, be maintained.

The profit for the last five years are as follows:
